Favorite YA authors

Melissa Marr: Author of WICKED LOVELY and INK EXCHANGE, Melissa's poetic prose keeps me turning the pages. She has an amazing website, and she's a total sweetheart on top of it. Check her out!

Stephanie Kuehnert: If you like music as much as I do, check out Stephanie's website. Her novel, I WANNA BE YOUR JOEY RAMONE, is coming out in July of 2008! And if the first chapter is any indication, it's a must read.

Megan Crewe: I love ghost stories, and Megan's GIVING UP THE GHOST is scheduled for publication in the Fall of 2009. She's a Canadian chica who tutors kids with autism. Check her out!

Jay Asher: Author of the haunting THIRTEEN REASONS WHY and fellow ABLA-er. His book is a must read!

Holly Black: Adore her gritty Urban Fantasy novels. She also has a very informative and lovely website.

Jo Knowles: Author of LESSONS FROM A DEAD GIRL, an intense and heartbreaking friendship between two girls. This is one of those unforgettable books--I promise you've read nothing like it.

Cecil Castellucci: I love her characters(especially Egg in BOY PROOF), and she's a fellow indie musician!
